Rollo gives you significant flexibility when it comes to label size.


In order to create your new custom size labels, please choose your printer:






Rollo X1040 Wireless Printer

To create custom size on your Wireless Rollo printer, you need to access Rollo Printer Portal. Please ensure you are on the same Wi-Fi network as Rollo, then open the Rollo App and visit Menu > Rollo Printer > Default Rollo Printer > Settings:

Once Rollo Printer Portal opens, please click on "Media" and choose the desired label size or create a new custom size. 




Click on Save Changes. 


Note: After creating a custom size, you may need to close and re-open the application you are printing from in order for the application to get the most up-to-date sizes available.




Rollo X1038 USB PrinterWhen you load in a new direct thermal label, there are two actions that need to take place: 

1) Run the automatic label identification on the printer 

2) Set proper label settings on your computer.

  1. Open Rollo's cover, insert the new label, set the adjustment slides and close the lid.
  2. Press and hold the top circle button on the Rollo printer until it beeps one time.
  3. Rollo will now analyze your new label.


Mac: Set your custom label size


In your print prompt menu, click on "Manage Custom Sizes" next to Paper Size.


Enter your paper size and margins on the next window and click OK. You can rename your new label size by double clicking on the highlighted item on the left.

Note: Windows requires entering your label size in millimeters. For example enter 2 in x 1 in as 50 mm x 25 m
